Anjali: A Tale of Dreams, Struggles, and Unwavering Resilience
We all have some untold stories of love, emotions, sacrifices, setbacks and comebacks that are buried deep inside us.
So today we are going to talk about one such inspirational story. Where there is a small 18-year old girl, has limitless dreams and equally limitless struggle…
She believes that life is very different, here you have to see, hear and tolerate everything, but you also have to speak where appropriate. Perhaps as a result of this acceptance, she never gives up. But what is the actual story behind it… Let’s have a look at that..!
She was born in Chamba, a very small village in Himachal Pradesh. If we talk about her family then she lives in a nuclear family. Her father earns his living by working as a daily wage labourer and in his fields. And her mother is a housewife. But you will be surprised to know that sometimes when the situation at home is not right, she also goes to work without informing her daughter.
Despite all these difficulties, she never gave up. Perhaps this is the most admirable aspect of a story. After completing her Class 12 exams at the local school, she left for Delhi to pursue her dream IAS. Facing immense difficulties in life, she cleared CUET in her first attempt without any coaching and got admission in India’s top university – University of Delhi.
But the journey till here has not been as easy as it sounds. There were many challenges, emotional, financial breakdowns which she faced. First she got admission in BA in Punjab University Chandigarh. At that time things were very unresolved, there was no support from home and financial things were also weak. Sometimes such a situation would arise that she would eat food only once a day. But meanwhile, some mentors of GEMS helped her a lot and started contributing some money every month. As it is said that behind every successful story there is a character who never lets you give up, so that character in her life is of GEMS. She considers GEMS as a part of her family… Her biggest strength.
She recently represented GEMS at the world’s largest climate clock event. And not only this, she is getting the support of many scholarships like Z scholar and Vivo. Currently to manage her daily expenses she is doing internships in Infinity and chegg like platforms. Despite all these GEMS is supporting her wholeheartedly.
“There is no real ending of any story. It’s just the place where you stop the story. But don’t forget Every story has an end, but in life every ending is just a new beginning.”
So let’s stop here and wait for the new beginning
